Kent Wedding Photography – An E Shoot with Amy & James in Sittingbourne

I was absolutely delighted when Amy and James booked me to provide their Preston Court Wedding Photography in Kent. Amy and James first met Inna and myself at the ExCel Wedding Fair last year, and following a meeting in a cafe in Bluewater, it seemed that their wedding was a long way away. Yet here we were, meeting up for their engagement shoot just weeks before their amazing wedding at a truly Stunning Kent Wedding Venue, Preston Court.

Amy and James are nothing if not adventurous, so maybe is shouldn’t have been a surprise that with weeks to go until the wedding, they had moved house and were busy ripping out walls and redesigning their new home. An Engagement Shoot seemed like just the thing to allow them to reconnect and have a little fun before their big day.

The Old Brick Works in Sittingbourne was the venue for our shoot, and set along the River Medway, it provided an amazing variety of backdrops to our shoot. They both started off a little camera shy, but within 5 minutes we were into the swing and they were both saying “Wow – I look good in that!”. It’s just one of the many reasons that I now happily recommend them to those a little timid in front of the camera, as it does away with nerves before the day about how they will look through the camera lens, and gives them the confidence that their wedding photos will be images they want to look at again and again!

We weren’t blessed with the best weather on the evening of our shoot, so I made a quick start just in case the heavens opened. It was just beginning to drizzle as we wound up our shoot, but we got a couple of my favourite images from those last few minutes.
