IoD Weddings – Joanna & Brent

Luxury Wedding venues in London don’t get much more impressive than the Institute of Directors (IoD Weddings) located in the very heart of the city, at 116 Pall Mall. I was so happy when Joanna and Brent contacted me about their wedding photography – and even more-so when they confirmed their booking for July 2015 (yes, I’m a little behind in my blogging!!).

Best London Wedding Venues

I began the beautiful summer day by photographing Joanna and her bridesmaids at bridal prep at their home in NW1 before jumping in a quintessentially London black cab to the IoD for their interfaith ceremony. The impressive Grade I listed building is arguably one of the Best London Wedding Venues with it’s Georgian and Regency architecture, sweeping staircase and marble columns. The service is impeccable and the venues gardens provide a perfect backdrop for both formal group images and intimate portraits. One of my favourite images of Joanna and Brent’s special day is of them after our couples portrait on the stairs as they walk to rejoin their wedding party – un-posed, completely natural, but so romantic and regal in the spectacular setting!
