Kew Gardens Wedding Photographer for the beautiful wedding of Cindy & Sorabain
Kew Gardens Wedding Photographer – Cindy found my London Wedding Photographer website via Google and after a meeting in St Katharine’s Dock for an espresso (a vice for both Cindy and I) we agreed all the details of the day extremely easily and to my absolute delight, I had one more London wedding venue ticked off my stunning wedding venue wishlist! (Click here to read about my venue wishlist…)
The 9th August 2014 was a beautiful summer’s day – though very unluckily, it was also the day of the 2014 RideLondon bike race, which meant road closures and diversions all around London! Thankfully, leaving plenty of time for my travel, I arrived with Cindy and her bridesmaids to photograph her bridal prep in plenty of time. Everyone was relaxed, bubbly and excited and it set the tone for a really fantastic day. Unfortunately, the diversions and delays meant that the bridal party were a little held up getting to the stunningly beautiful Nash Conservatory at Kew Gardens, where Sorabain, in full, vintage Highwayman regalia awaited his stunning bride.
After the ceremony, we took a few moments through the day to get some really stunning pictures of Cindy and Sorabain. Together with my second photographer (on this occasion, the talented Sarah Khamsoda) and my lighting assistant Oli, we had a lot of fun. Cindy and Sorabain were so great to work with – capturing the emotion of their day really wasn’t difficult when they themselves were so relaxed and happy, and not afraid to be a little bit silly in front of the camera!
Speeches gave way to a fabulous wedding breakfast – then onto a very unconventional, but brilliant first dance! I’d like to make a small mention of Kew Gardens as a venue. As well as being one of the most truly stunning London wedding venues – I feel you can really tell the caliber of a venue by the way they treat suppliers and other service providers, and I can truly say that the staff at Kew Gardens are as exceptional as the surroundings.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my team, and Cindy and Sorabain for having me along as their Kew Gardens Wedding Photographer – here is a small snippet of their day. Enjoy!
