Victoria Park Engagement Photographer – An E shoot in East London with Maria & Ian
It was my absolute pleasure to be Maria and Ian’s Victoria Park Engagement Photographer recently! Maria, originally from Columbia had contacted me the week before about the shoot and I’m so happy that I could fit them in my schedule. Victoria Park in Hackney, East London is particularly special to them both as that is where they got engaged, and we had a great time strolling around the beautiful park in East London, which lends itself so perfectly to photo shoots.
We scheduled the shoot midweek in the late afternoon to catch the best of the late afternoon golden light. We were also exceptionally lucky with beautiful weather in late August. We met at the Pavilion in the 213 acre park, located between South Hackney and Old Bow, along with one of my most trusted assistants Sabrina Bou and a second assistant who was there to observe. I love passing along knowledge and helping others develop their own skills, and an engagement shoot is the perfect opportunity to allow aspiring photographers to observe and learn.
Below are a few of my favourite images taken on the day – thanks again to Sabrina, my assistant for the shoot, and to Maria and Ian for being such great fun to work with. Enjoy!
